Mike Ward, a Critic of the Year nominee in the British Press Awards, is currently the TV Critic for The Daily Star as well as the TV Critic for talkSPORT's Hawksbee & Jacobs Show and the TV Editor for The Daily Express Saturday Magazine. He also hosts BBC Sussex's football fans phone-in show..A regular contributor to Five Live, LBC, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio Ulster, you've probably heard Mike in some place or other given that he can also be found at some point on most BBC local radio stations (including their General News Service),
Based in Brighton, he does a weekly drivetime TV preview slot on BBC Southern Counties Radio and another for the commercial station Juice 107.2FM. Determined to be one of the busiest men in the industry, he also writes a column for the Brighton & Hove Albion matchday programme and does a weekly Albion podcast for the Argus newspaper.
Previously, he wrote a weekly satirical news column for two years on the Today newspaper and was a feature writer for The Sunday Mirror magazine.
Amongst his other credits are The Daily Telegraph (sports section), The Daily Mirror, Four Four Two magazine, Saga, British Airways Highlife, easyJet inflight magazine, Essentials, Family Circle and many others.
Mike also wrote a Brighton & Hove Albion book - Gullhanger - (awarded four stars out of five in Four Four Two - and that was before they knew him!).
