Andy Smart

Probably the best and most recognisable compere on the British stand up circuit.

He has been part of the infamous ‘Comedy Store Players' since 1984 and has compered the Glastonbury Festival Cabaret tent every year since then too. Andy is also part of Paul Merton's Impro Chums and Steve Frost's Impro All Stars that regularly tours around the world every year.

He has appeared in numerous TV comedies and panel shows as well as presenting ‘Get Fresh' on ITV1 and The American Football coverage on C4.

He is a regular contributor on Talksport Radio and FHM and XL Magazine, and has performed one man shows at the Edinburgh Festival as well as the award winning ‘12 Angry Men' production in 2003 that then toured Australia and New Zealand.

As part of ‘The Vicious Boys' he was winner of The Time Out Street Entertainer of the Year in 1984

Away from comedy, Andy has a predilection for extreme danger- and has run with the bulls in Pamplona forty eight times. So far.

He is an excellent footballer, baseball, poker and darts player and plays cricket regularly on Arthur Smith's team- ‘The Dusty Fleming's International Hairstylist's XI as well as a model and founding member of erotic dance troupe HUNX.
